We collect information you give us directly: your name, email, phone number, and business details. We also store data you upload about your customers, jobs, invoices, inventory, employee records, SMS conversations, and any other business records you manage inside JobGenie.
When you use SMS features, messages sent and received through the platform are stored in your account to provide your CRM history. Demo accounts use draft-only mode — no real messages are sent.
JobGenie uses your data solely to run the service: to power the AI chat assistant (Anthropic Claude Haiku), generate documents and invoices, manage your customer relationships, send SMS messages at your direction, and improve the product. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it. Each company's data is kept fully isolated using row-level security (RLS) enforced at the database level — no tenant can see another tenant's data.
Our AI (Claude Haiku via Anthropic) processes your chat commands in real time to answer questions, generate documents, and automate workflows. Anthropic does not train on your data. No business data is used for model training or improvement. You can review Anthropic's data policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Data is stored encrypted at rest in PostgreSQL (hosted on Neon with Supabase for auth). All communications are encrypted in transit via TLS. We retain your data while your account is active. When you close your account, data is purged within 30 days.
We use Textbelt to send SMS messages — only for authentication (login codes) and messages you direct us to send to your customers. Demo accounts use draft-only mode (SMS are logged but not delivered). Standard carrier rates may apply. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
You can request access to, correction of, or full deletion of your personal data at any time. You can export your data from the Settings page. To request full account deletion, email us — we will delete your data within 30 days.
JobGenie relies on: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Supabase (auth), Anthropic (AI), Twilio and Textbelt (SMS). Each has its own privacy policy governing data handling.
